„Innovative Startup“ designation from German Ministry
SONEAN was informed by Germany`s Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control about its designation as „innovative startup“ as part of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy`s program to subsidize venture capital investments of private investors into young and innovative companies. This ministerial designation will not only allow future business angels to get 20% of their investments in the company reimbursed but above all highlights the innovative nature of our business model to go beyond financial data and provide unique social network analytic data and services for investors.
SONEAN among others offers investors in unlisted companies (PE and VC) unique complementary insights into the social fabric of the organizations (social ties between executives and non-executives) in which they invest (including co-investors and the clusters in which they are embedded) and monitors developments on a daily basis to spot risks and opportunities in a profound new way across all relevant information sources. We thus equip investors with independent, complementary and unique data along their entire investment process and assist them in getting better control over their investments and monitor changes dynamically in a fast changing environment. In March 2015 we will roll out our “Ecosystem Intelligence” which we see as the future of portfolio monitoring. Details will follow.
